Reality television in Nigeria may be taking a different direction as BullBell Africa Project Limited unveils the second edition of Nigeria Campus Queen (NCQ), a platform designed to celebrate intelligence, innovation, and leadership alongside beauty.

Officially launched in Lagos in May 2026, the initiative is being described by organisers as more than just another campus pageant. Instead, it aims to create opportunities for young women to develop practical skills, embrace technology, and become influential voices within their communities.

With the theme, “Beauty and Tech – Education For All,” the new season seeks to spotlight female students who combine confidence and charisma with digital competence, creativity, and social awareness.

According to the organisers, the reality show will assemble exceptional female students from tertiary institutions across the country in a competitive camp setting where they will participate in mentorship sessions, intensive training, and task-based challenges. These activities are expected to assess contestants’ strengths in leadership, entrepreneurship, digital innovation, public speaking, and community engagement.

The organisers explained that the project was intentionally designed to move beyond conventional beauty standards by promoting intellectual growth and solution-driven thinking among young women.

“NCQ is not just about appearance or entertainment,” the organisers said. “It is a transformational platform created to bridge the gap between beauty, education, and technological empowerment. We want young women to see themselves as innovators, leaders, and change-makers in society.”

Contestants will also receive training in media relations, communication, and personal branding, skills the organisers believe will prepare them for opportunities beyond the television spotlight.

Registration for NCQ Season 2.0 has officially commenced and is free for interested applicants. Eligible participants must be female students between the ages of 18 and 28 enrolled in accredited Nigerian universities, polytechnics, or colleges of education. Applicants are also expected to demonstrate a strong interest in leadership, innovation, and social impact.

Beyond the competition itself, the platform is opening partnership opportunities for corporate organisations and sponsors in sectors such as telecommunications, finance, fashion, media, and technology. Organisers say the initiative offers brands nationwide exposure while connecting them directly with a new generation of ambitious female leaders.

Highlighting the relevance of the project in today’s digital era, the organisers stressed the growing need for empowered young women who can compete and thrive in technology-driven environments.

“There is a global conversation around education, gender equality, innovation, and inclusion,” they noted. “NCQ aligns with those conversations by creating a platform where young Nigerian women can showcase both their intellect and their potential to drive change.”

As anticipation builds ahead of the new season, students across Nigeria are being encouraged to take advantage of what many are already describing as a life-changing opportunity.

With its blend of entertainment, mentorship, education, and technology, Nigeria Campus Queen Season 2.0 is poised to introduce a fresh narrative in Africa’s evolving reality television space — one that places empowerment and purpose at the centre of the spotlight.
