Fresh from sealing another dominant league campaign, Victor Osimhen and his Galatasaray teammates were formally received by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara, marking a ceremonial celebration of their latest Süper Lig success.

The visit to the Presidential Complex brought together the entire championship-winning squad of Galatasaray S.K., all dressed in formal suits, as they exchanged handshakes and greetings with the Turkish leader. Club president Dursun Özbek also presented a Galatasaray jersey during the reception.

League Dominance and Osimhen’s Influence

Galatasaray’s latest title run further cemented their domestic supremacy, as they clinched their 26th league crown, finishing three points ahead of arch-rivals Fenerbahçe. The triumph places them on the brink of historic dominance, with a potential fifth consecutive title next season that would set a new record in Turkish football.

Osimhen played a central role in the campaign, delivering 15 league goals and five assists in just 22 appearances. His impact also extended into Europe, where he contributed seven goals and three assists in 10 UEFA Champions League matches before Galatasaray exited at the round of 16 stage against Liverpool.

Rising Value and Transfer Speculation

Since arriving in Istanbul, the Nigerian forward has continued to build his reputation as one of Europe’s most decisive strikers, helping the club secure multiple trophies. His success has, however, attracted growing interest from top European sides.

Clubs such as Chelsea, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring his situation closely, even as Galatasaray maintain a firm stance on keeping their star forward beyond the current campaign.

For now, the striker’s focus remains on finishing his spell in Turkey on a high, as the club looks to extend its dominance in the seasons ahead.
