Nollywood actress and filmmaker Uche Jombo has paid a heartfelt tribute to late actor Alex Ekubo, assuring his wife of unwavering support following his passing.

In an emotional post shared on Instagram, Jombo revealed that she joined close friends and associates in visiting the actor’s home, where they spent time with his widow reflecting on his life, personality, and legacy.

The actress described the gathering as deeply emotional, saying moments of grief were mixed with laughter as they remembered the late actor’s vibrant spirit and unique sense of humor.

“As we sat around your wife today talking about you, through the tears came heavy laughter, and I looked around and said … this is so Alex!” she wrote.

Jombo expressed gratitude for the memories and bond she shared with the late actor, noting that he lived intentionally and remained true to himself throughout his life.

“Thank you, brother, for the memories, lessons, conversations and love! Because I know how much of a planner you are and how intentional you are, I can say you did it YOUR WAY!. Everything else is noise,” she added.

The actress also reflected on the pain of losing him while finding comfort in the belief that he is now at peace.

“Our hearts are breaking, but I know you are free from pain and left with a smile. I thank God for your life, for your peace with him in the end,” she stated.

Jombo further reassured the late actor that his wife would not be left alone during this difficult period.

“I’m sure you already know we got her! Love you and miss you, Ikuku,” she concluded.
