Reality TV star and former winner of Big Brother Naija, Whitemoney, has issued a public warning to aspiring contestants asking him to secure them a place in the upcoming season of the show.

In a video broadcast shared on his social platforms, he revealed that his direct messages are increasingly filled with requests from hopeful housemates who believe he can influence their selection into the reality series.

He firmly dismissed the idea, making it clear that he has no authority or connections that could guarantee anyone entry into the competition.

“My DM is filled up with messages from people asking me to influence their entries into BBNaija. Please, I do not have the power to put you into Big Brother house. Stop sending messages. Every year when the programme is approaching, I keep getting messages. This year’s own is too much.”

He acknowledged the growing desperation among young Nigerians seeking fame and opportunity through the show, especially in a challenging economic climate, but urged them not to abandon the official process in search of shortcuts.

“I understand that the economy is hard and everyone wants to be famous by going to the Big Brother show. But please, go and audition. Follow the due process. I auditioned 4 times before I was picked.”

He also warned against fraudsters exploiting the popularity of the show by promising fake access in exchange for money, advising hopefuls to remain vigilant and avoid scams.

“Keep auditioning even if they reject you. And don’t fall victim of scam by giving anyone money to give a BBNaija slot. Be wise about it,” he added.

His message serves as both a reality check and encouragement to aspiring contestants, reinforcing that participation in Big Brother Naija is strictly based on official auditions and not personal influence or shortcuts.
