According to her, trust, faith and mutual commitment have remained the foundation of their relationship, insisting that infidelity has never been an issue between them.
Jarvis said:
“Peller has never cheated on me before. If he cheats, he will die. It is the rule of the relationship.”
Clarifying that the statement reflected the seriousness of their commitment rather than a literal threat, she explained that both of them place God at the centre of their relationship and regularly pray together.
“You are in a commitment. The fact that we pray together, God is involved. Shey God will not be looking at you?” she said.
She further described their relationship as a covenant anchored on faith, adding that the reassurance they have in one another leaves no room for betrayal.
“The only blood covenant we have is God. The reassurance and commitment are there. We love each other; the commitment is there; there is no reason to cheat.”
