Nigerian music promoter and socialite, Sam Larry, has reportedly been hospitalised following a tragic road accident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road in Lagos State.
According to reports, the vehicle conveying Sam Larry crashed into a trailer, leaving the car extensively damaged. The circumstances surrounding the collision have not yet been officially disclosed.
The accident reportedly claimed the life of Sam Larry's bouncer, who was said to have died at the scene before emergency responders arrived. Sam Larry, on the other hand, was reportedly rescued and rushed to a hospital, where he is said to be receiving treatment for critical injuries.
Photos and videos circulating on social media showed the wreckage of the vehicle, highlighting the severity of the impact.
Nigerian comedian and master of ceremonies, Mario Wazobia, also appealed to the public to pray for the music promoter while confirming the tragic incident in an Instagram post.

Sharing additional photos from the crash scene, he wrote:
"More photos from the early morning accident involving socialite Sam Larry and his bouncer. Reports indicate the bouncer tragically lost his life at the scene while Sam Larry has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition."
As of the time of filing this report, neither Sam Larry's family nor his management team has released an official statement regarding his condition. Authorities are also yet to issue a formal report on the cause of the crash.
