Although the announcement did not disclose how much each organization received, at least two charities confirmed they were each awarded $1 million.
City Harvest, a New York-based food rescue organization, praised the donation, with CEO Jilly Stephens saying:

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank also acknowledged receiving a $1 million gift.
