Popular television host and media personality Frank Edoho has declared that he has no plans to pursue another romantic relationship or walk down the aisle again, describing his life as a single man as a “superpower.”
Edoho made his position known on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday while responding to a social media user who commented on his recent decision not to offer marital advice to newlywed content creators Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth, better known as Jarvis.
The former Who Wants To Be A Millionaire host had earlier declined to advise the young couple on marriage, explaining that he did not consider himself qualified to offer such guidance. Instead, Edoho said he knew “nothing about marriage” and could only pray for their union.
Reacting to Edoho's position, an X user identified by the handle #JJ27581708 suggested that the broadcaster was being sincere about his decision, arguing that his personal experiences could affect how Nigerians receive any marital advice he gives.
“#frankedoho is being sincere. He knows a lot about marriage and knows many ways it can fail. However, knowing the psychology of Nigerians, he knows his advice will be marred, in their eyes, by his marital setbacks. Hopefully, Frank will find a woman who will show him true love,” the user wrote.
Edoho agreed with much of the user's observation about public perception of his past relationships but strongly disagreed with the suggestion that he should look for love again.
“How wise of you. You are absolutely right about everything but that last part,” Edoho wrote.
“There’s a superpower that comes with being alone, and it’s beautiful. I’m definitely not finding any woman. Not ever.”
His comments have drawn attention because they come against the backdrop of public interest in his previous marriages and the challenges surrounding his personal life.
Edoho's first marriage to broadcaster Katherine Obiang ended in separation and attracted considerable public attention at the time. He later married Sandra Onyenucheya, but that relationship also ended in a widely publicised separation.
The television personality has, on several occasions, spoken about the emotional impact of his experiences in marriage. In recent remarks, he reflected on the trauma associated with his past relationships and made it clear that he does not want to find himself in a situation where a woman becomes the cause of his death.
For now, Edoho appears resolute about embracing singlehood, presenting it not as a temporary phase but as a deliberate personal choice. His latest remarks suggest that, despite public expectations or speculation about his love life, he is comfortable with his decision to remain alone.
