Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele and her estranged husband, music producer Abdulrasheed Bello, popularly known as JJC Skillz, have reunited in Paris for a family outing with their twin sons.
The former couple were seen together at several locations in the French capital, with videos shared on social media capturing moments from what appeared to be a relaxed family trip.
JJC Skillz shared one of the clips on Snapchat showing Akindele and the children at a shopping mall. He captioned the post, “Family time,” giving fans a glimpse into their time together.
In another video, the music producer playfully addressed Akindele as “Mama Ibeji” and asked, “Are we playing games?”
The actress responded enthusiastically, “Yess ooo.”
Akindele also shared footage of herself with JJC Skillz and their sons at a PlayStation arcade inside what appeared to be a mall in Paris.
The family was later seen around the Eiffel Tower, further highlighting the holiday atmosphere surrounding their reunion.
The reunion has drawn attention because of the former couple’s decision to maintain a cordial co-parenting relationship since the end of their marriage.
Akindele and JJC Skillz got married in 2016 and welcomed twin boys during their union. In 2022, the couple announced their separation, bringing an end to their marriage after six years.
Despite their separation, the two have continued to share parenting responsibilities and occasionally come together for family-related occasions.
Their latest outing in Paris offers another public glimpse into that arrangement, with the former couple appearing comfortable in each other’s company as they spent time with their children.
The family moments also underscore the increasingly visible role of co-parenting in the lives of Akindele and JJC Skillz, who have largely kept their children at the centre of their relationship since going their separate ways.
