The 24-year-old event planner from Imo State was among the 24 contestants who entered the house at the start of the competition, which is themed “Show Ya Sef” and offers a record ₦160 million prize package to the eventual winner.
Kamsy’s time on the show was marked by her personality, interactions with fellow contestants and a developing romance with housemate Gerard, which became one of the notable storylines of her stay.
Romance With Gerard
Kamsy and Gerard developed a romantic connection shortly after entering the house, with Gerard making his interest in her known.
Their relationship, however, soon became strained as disagreements emerged over Kamsy’s interactions with other male housemates.
Gerard confronted her at one point over what he perceived as flirting and dancing with other men, describing the behaviour as disrespectful.
The relationship suffered a further setback following Kamsy’s Truth or Dare moment with Chimsom Chuka.
After the incident, Gerard admitted that he still liked Kamsy but said he had chosen to detach himself from the relationship.
The decision reportedly left Kamsy emotional, with footage from the house showing her crying following the breakdown of her relationship with Gerard. The episode subsequently became one of the more talked-about moments of her stay on the show.
Kamsy Among 16 Housemates Up for Eviction
Kamsy’s eviction followed her nomination alongside 15 other housemates during the third week of the competition.
She faced the public vote alongside Gerard, Abi, Bells, Goddessa, Barry, Araga, Oyin, Nomy, Sheba, Keivo, Temi Nkem, Sultex, Ricky, Tram and Yusuf.
Her eviction brings her BBNaija journey to an end after three weeks, leaving the remaining housemates to continue competing for the ₦160 million prize package and the Season 11 crown.
With Kamsy’s departure, attention now shifts to the remaining contestants as the competition enters another phase of nominations, alliances, relationships and challenges in the race to become the next BBNaija winner.
