Fashion model’s exit ends much-followed journey after turbulent romance with Goddessa
The Big Brother Naija Season 11 house has lost another of its notable personalities, with fashion model Araga evicted from the “Show Ya Sef” house during Sunday night’s live eviction show.
Araga’s departure brings an end to a journey that had been marked by romance, controversy and a strong presence in the house, particularly following his much-discussed relationship with fellow housemate Goddessa.
The model was among 14 contestants placed at risk of eviction during the seventh week of the competition. He faced the public vote alongside Abi, Aikou, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Chimsom Chuka, Flora, Nomy, Oyin, Ricky, Temi Nkem, Sheba and Yusuf.
The Week 7 nomination process introduced another twist into the competition, with Big Brother challenging the housemates to search for 14 red envelopes hidden around the house.
While one of the envelopes contained immunity, the others carried a “GOTCHA” message. Araga found one of the latter, leaving him vulnerable to eviction and ultimately placing his fate in the hands of viewers.
His exit represents another significant development in a season that has continued to generate strong reactions among BBNaija fans.
Araga first attracted considerable attention through his relationship with Goddessa. The pair shared the first on-screen kiss of the season, immediately making their romance one of the most talked-about developments in the house.
Their relationship, however, was far from smooth.
The pair later became embroiled in a series of disagreements, with tensions emerging between them as the competition progressed. Goddessa was eventually evicted in Week Five, bringing their relationship inside the house to an abrupt end.
Following her departure, Africa Magic reported that Goddessa discussed her relationship with Araga during her conversation with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu after leaving the show.
Araga nevertheless remained in the competition and continued to command attention from viewers.
His connection with Goddessa remained a point of interest even after her eviction. On September 10, reports showed Araga placing flowers on Goddessa’s photo wall, a gesture that quickly drew attention from fans and reignited discussion about the pair’s complicated relationship.
That moment became one of the more emotional episodes in Araga’s final days in the competition.
But despite maintaining his visibility in the house, Araga could not survive the Week 7 eviction vote.
His departure now leaves the ₦160 million grand prize further out of reach as the remaining housemates enter another critical phase of the competition.
For viewers who had followed Araga from his introduction as a confident and magnetic fashion model through his romance with Goddessa and the twists that followed, his eviction marks the end of one of the season’s more closely watched storylines.
With another major personality gone, attention will now shift to the remaining contestants as the battle for survival—and ultimately the ₦160 million prize—intensifies.
