Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has maintained that the truth will eventually emerge over the allegations at the centre of his increasingly public feud with fellow rapper Blaqbonez.
Odumodublvck spoke during an episode of the In Motion Podcast on YouTube, shared on Friday, as he addressed the fallout between the two artistes, who were previously friends and collaborators.
The dispute has escalated in recent times, with allegations involving a woman, claims of harassment and sexual abuse, and threats of legal action. Blaqbonez has denied the sexual-abuse allegations and challenged Odumodublvck to substantiate the claims in court.
Reflecting on their strained relationship, Odumodublvck accused Blaqbonez of giving contradictory accounts about their friendship and past association.
“He was lying. He was not consistent. They ask you one question, you say yes. You say no. You say my brain told me that,” he said.
The rapper also questioned Blaqbonez’s reported position that the pair were never friends, pointing to their history of working together and appearing at each other’s events.
“Shebi he said we’re not friends. That’s what he said. It’s not consistent. How would you say that we’re not friends? We’re not friends. But we have three songs together. I’ve come for your show,” he said.
Odumodublvck backs allegation against Blaqbonez
Odumodublvck went further when discussing the sexual-abuse allegation that has become a major point of contention between the two rappers.
The rapper said the available evidence supported the allegation against Blaqbonez, although he did not disclose all the details he said were behind his position.
“According to the evidence, he is. He did what he was accused of doing. He did everything,” Odumodublvck said.
He subsequently indicated that he would not reveal everything surrounding the allegation, leaving the details of the evidence he referenced undisclosed.
Blaqbonez, however, has denied the sexual-abuse allegation and publicly challenged Odumodublvck to prove the claim in court.
The dispute has also revived an earlier police matter involving Blaqbonez and a woman who accused the rapper of cyberstalking, harassment, blackmail and invasion of privacy.
According to a 2025 petition by the woman’s lawyers, she alleged that she had experienced prolonged harassment after rejecting the rapper’s romantic advances. Blaqbonez denied the allegations.
Rapper questions police detention account
During the podcast, Odumodublvck also referred to the police matter, questioning Blaqbonez’s account of his detention.
“Police cannot just detain you for 48 hours and you pay damages,” he said.
Odumodublvck alleged that Blaqbonez initially maintained that he had been falsely accused but later submitted an apology and undertaking at the police station.
“He put up a statement saying that he has been falsely accused. When he went to the police station and was detained, he put in his apology and undertaking, which he wrote handwritten, that he would delete the statements that exonerate him,” Odumodublvck said.
He further alleged that Blaqbonez deleted the statements after returning home.
“When he went back to his house, he deleted the statement. What does that mean? If he did not do it, won’t he say, ‘Very dark man, come oh, they want to bully me’,” he added.
The claims remain disputed, with Blaqbonez having denied the allegations against him.
N2.55bn legal threat
The latest dispute has also taken a legal dimension. In July, lawyers representing Blaqbonez issued a pre-action notice demanding N2.55bn in damages over the allegations made by Odumodublvck.
The lawyers described the rapper’s statements as defamatory and indicated that legal action could follow if the matter was not resolved.
Odumodublvck, meanwhile, maintained that he was prepared to let the facts ultimately determine the outcome of the dispute.
“At the end of the day, when the right time comes, everybody will know the real truth. If somebody cannot even say, use his mouth and say we are friends. If you can even lie about a friendship that you and I had, what won’t you lie about?” he said.
He added: “At the right time, justice will prevail.”
The controversy marks a sharp turn in the relationship between the two artistes, whose earlier friendship and musical collaborations had publicly positioned them as associates within Nigeria’s contemporary rap scene.
For now, the allegations remain contested, with Blaqbonez denying the accusations and Odumodublvck maintaining that evidence will ultimately establish what happened.
