BBNaija winner claims victory with fourth-round technical knockout at ‘Chaos in the Ring’
Big Brother Naija Level Up winner, Phyna, has emerged victorious in a high-profile celebrity boxing clash against Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing, taking home ₦50 million and a brand-new car after securing a fourth-round technical knockout.
The bout, which attracted significant attention from fans of both entertainment personalities, took place on Thursday, October 1, at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos as part of Balmoral Promotions’ ‘Chaos in the Ring’ event.
Phyna dominated the contest before the fight was stopped in the fourth round, handing the reality television star victory in the female celebrity boxing bout.
The win adds another chapter to Phyna’s career outside reality television, as the former BBNaija housemate continues to explore opportunities in different areas of entertainment and popular culture.
Following her victory, Phyna shared photographs of herself proudly displaying her championship belt and reflected on the journey from reality television to the boxing ring.
“From reality TV to the boxing ring, I’ve always been willing to challenge myself, break barriers and prove that there is so much more to Phyna than what people see,” she wrote.
The reality star also dedicated the victory to women who have faced discouragement or been told that certain achievements were beyond their reach.
“This one is for every woman who has ever been told she couldn’t. We can, we will, and we absolutely should,” she said.
