Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has announced November 27, 2026, as the release date for his forthcoming studio album, Oldest Young Man.
The singer revealed the date in a post on his Instagram page, describing the upcoming project as a timeless body of work that would remain relevant beyond its release.
“The legacy continues. OLDEST YOUNG MAN drops 27.11.26. Timeless music, no expiration date,” he wrote.
The album will mark 2Baba’s first full-length project in six years, following the release of Warriors, his eighth studio album, in 2020.
The music veteran has been building anticipation for the project in recent months, offering fans glimpses of its title and direction through social media posts.
In August, he hinted at the forthcoming album, writing: “I’ve lived it, I’ve seen it, I’m still here. My new album, Oldest Young Man, soon comes.”
He further reinforced the album's title in September while celebrating his birthday, referring to himself as “forever the oldest young man”.
The announcement has heightened anticipation among fans eager to hear new material from the award-winning singer, whose career has spanned more than two decades and produced several enduring Nigerian music hits.
