Nigeria booked their place in the final in Morocco following an impressive performance, with Queen Joseph scoring once while Awawu Bashiru grabbed a brace to secure a convincing victory over the South Americans.
Reflecting on the defeat during her post-match interview, Silva acknowledged that her players struggled to cope with Nigeria's intensity, particularly during transitions and counter-attacking situations.
The Brazilian coach noted that her team's inability to execute simple passes accurately gave Nigeria opportunities to exploit their weaknesses.
"Just like against Ghana, when you make technical mistakes against teams that are more physical than those we are used to facing, you will pay for that," Rilany said.
"We made a lot of mistakes in simple passes. We suffered a lot from the transitions and counter-attacks."
Her comments highlighted Brazil's difficulties against the Flamingos, who capitalised on their opponents' errors to produce a commanding performance and secure a place in the tournament's final.
Following the semi-final setback, Brazil will turn their attention to the third-place match against North Korea on Saturday as they seek to end their World Cup campaign on a positive note.
