There are a lot of things Beyoncé
would do career wise, but apparently one of them is not becoming a judge on a
reality singing completion like former band mate Kelly Rowland.
Speaking during Heart FM’s Have A
Heart appeal Beyoncé’s dad Mathew Knowles squashed rumors that his daughter
would ever consider a gig as an X Factor judge.
“There are a few things that she
would never do and that is one,” the new granddad said of Bey who has performed
and been a guest mentor on a couple of singing competition shows.
“It’s not for her,” he added.
As for Kelly Rowland Mathew
revealed the singer is in fact returning to the UK version of the show despite
rumors to the contrary.
“Kelly Rowland is doing a great
job and I’m glad to see that Simon Cowell is having her back.”
Mathew also gushed about his new
granddaughter Blue Ivy:
“If Blue Ivy wants to be a doctor
when she grows up then they would figure how to buy a hospital. If she wants to
be a basketball player I already own a WNBA team so she can play there and if
she wants to be a singer then she would be very happy.”
“She’s already the youngest
artist ever to be on the Billboard Charts. I just saw Beyoncé and Blue Ivy two
days ago. She has already got fifty per cent growth in three weeks. She is
going to be a really tall kid.”
“You just want to love and kiss
her but the great thing with grandkids is that you can give them back.”
