There are only five more contestants left in the ongoing second edition of Nigerian Idol and as it gets tougher by the week, we can’t but cross our fingers as we hope our favourite contestant wins!
But other than the contestants and judges – Jeffery Daniels, Charly Boy and Yinka Davies, it’s been nice to see quite a number of celebrity judges grace the show to mentor contestants, offer critiques and deliver performances.

Celebs like M.I, Waje and the Afro-Juju maestro Shina Peters have graced the stage to the delight of the contestants and studio guests. Others include DJ Zeez, Illbliss, KSB and Lara George.
Over the weekend 23-year-old Lynda Giami was evicted from the house leaving the five remaining contestants Joe Blue, Honey, Mercy, Najite and Stephen to battle for the mouth-watering prize of $100,000 and an SUV.
