    9 Suspected Internet Fraudsters Arraigned, Get N1m Bail Each



    Nine of the 20 arrested internet fraud suspects have been arraigned before Justice A M Liman of the Federal High Court 1, Benin City, Edo State.
    They were brought to court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on separate charges bordering on conspiracy to commit felony to wit: obtaining money under false pretence, after men of the Joint Task Force, JTF, 4 Brigade in Benin City handed them over to the EFCC.
    They pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against them.
    Justice Liman, however, granted the nine accused persons bail in the sum of N1million each with two sureties in like sum one of which must be a civil servant and the other must own a landed property within the jurisdiction of court.
    The judge then orders that the accused persons be remanded in prison while the case was adjourned to March 4, 13, 19.
    Those brought to court were Larry Edomwonyi (alias Mark Erixson), Iyen Oghodaro Destiny, Adesa Lucky Rute (alias Peter Anderson, Eric Stern etc), Osaugwu Uchenna Kingsley (alias Sam Henric), Robinson Lucky (alias Justin Parker), Amovie Mike (alias Jeffery Ares), Egbeifo John Endurance and Egbeniyi Oluwafemi (alias Raymond Morrison, Mavis Mar), Itua Samuel Robinson (alias Park Wetty, King Harry ).
