    IBADAN STOOD STILL FOR GBENGA ADEYINKA 1ST, FUNKE AKINDELE, DAVIDO, MAY D ON EASTER SUNDAY








































    The ancient city of Ibadan stood still on Sunday March 31, 2013, when comedian and actor, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st GCON held his annual comedy and music concert, Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka 1st and friends.
    With Nollywood big act, Funke Akindele co-hosting the event, which had 2 phases and kicked off at exactly 2pm, musicians like Davido, May D, Jaywon, Capital FEMI, Dammy Krane, LKT and Kayefi rocked the full packed event centre, Jogor Events place alongside their comedy counterparts.
    The hall 3,500 seater events centre was filled to the brim as fun seekers trooped out enmasse to enjoy what has been tagged the most talked about and biggest comedy-music concert in Oyo State.
    Gbenga Adeyinka 1st GCON took his show to another level at the third edition of the annual event as he had an unusual attendance of top Nollywood stars that include Eniola Badmus, Sunday Omobolanle a.k.a Papa Aluwe, Rasaq Olayiwola a.k.a Ojopagogo, Muyiwa Ademola, Doris Simeon, Sadiq Adebayo, Olumide Bakare and a host of others.
    A guest at the event noted that the show couldn’t have been better than it was because he had so much fun with the hilarious jokes and banters of Owen Gee and Lepacious Bose as well as Gbenga Adeyinka 1st and Funke Akindele.
    One of the highlights of the event is Funke Akindele, who played the role of three different characters to the delight of Her Excellency, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, Oyo State First Lady and her entourage.
    Funke stunned many attendees as she smartly and professionally played the roles of Lefty Omo Ghetto, Funke Akindele Oloyede and Jenifa all through the 2 phased show.
     Other highlights of the event includes the performances by Davido, May D, Adetoun and Isaac Geralds of Project Fame and SB, who rendered energetic tunes that left the crowd asking for more.
    Attendees confirmed that the third edition of the annual Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka 1st and friends with the theme homecoming remains the most interesting and full packed edition and it can only get better.
