Talented Nollywood
actress, Monalisa Chinda seems to be enjoying the best of romantic relationship
with an alleged serial womaniser, Lanre Nzeribe. A recent statement by her
friend and publicist, Egor Efiok's indicated that the two have become an item.
Monalisa, few
years ago, told the world that her marriage to her ex-husband, Dejo Richards,
was short-lived due to domestic abuse. The Rivers State-born actress told those
who cared to listen that she quit from the marriage when she could no longer
bear the 'punches' from her former husband and father of her only child, Tamar.
For some time now,
no man was romantically linked with the beautiful screen diva until recently
when reports flittered that she was dating Lanre.
Few days ago,
Efiok wrote a piece where she revealed how happy Monalisa is now with Lanre,
who is hated by many fans of the dashing actress based on what they have heard
about him.
“From the bottom
of my heart,” Egor started, “Lanre is one of the most responsible men I have
ever met,” she said. Egor further stated that, “the gentleman kind would open
doors for this lady and will hold her hands up the stairs to prevent her from
tripping.”
“He treats Lisa
with so much love and respect and those that are close to them can testify to
this,” she continued. Egor added that, “I've been so happy for Lisa because having
witnessed what she had suffered in the hands of her former husbad; this
relationship is just a blessing from God.”
Egor expressed her
sadness over some comments about the rumour that Lanre is dating Monalisa
because of her money. According to her, “if it is money, I can tell you for
free that Lanre is a millionaire.
“It is just
because he is quiet and does not make noise. Each time I've dined with them,
it's always at one posh Chinese Restaurant or the other, the guy is very
classy. These internet trolls are saying things they have no clue about, some
of them are just repeating the same baloney that they read.”
There are however
indications that Monalisa is still not ready to rush into marriage because of
her last marital experience.
