Faj Endorses New Sensational Afro-Pop Queen Akhere…Presents Awards At Mega 2013

 Femi Akintunde-Johnson, popularly known as FAJ and founding coordinator of a number of the major awards in the country, in the past 20 years has put his weight behind Akhere, the new queen of Afro-pop at the just concluded Music & Entertainment Gospel Awards, MEGA 2013, where she made her first appearance at the awards, the industry watchers considered to be the biggest and brightest.
 FAJ, the acclaimed godfather of Nigeria entertainment and multiple awards-winning entertainment journalist years back and the creator of major awards like Fame Music Awards( FMA), The Movie Awards (THEMA), Awards for Musical Excellence in Nigeria (AMEN) and The REEL Awards with his wealth of experience in the industry saw the potentials in Akhere and gave her the best opportunity so far to present one of the biggest categories of Awards at the MEGA awards that took place at the Haven Events Centre, GRA Ikeja Lagos, on Friday, November 8, 2013.
Talented Akhere, born in the early eighties is one of the twin sisters of the famous Okpiaifo family from  Ugboha in Ishan, South East Local Government, Edo State. 

The sexy song star who has been singing professionally for about two years now just dropped hot singles entitled; Gaga and Today Na Today which has becomes the new national  anthem of her numerous fans and good music lovers in and outside the country.
Those who should know disclosed that Gaga produced by Dabeat has been choice of many club disc-jockeys while Today Na Today has been enjoying tremendous airplay on top radio stations across the country.

We also gathered that the song diva presently has been busy promoting her new hot singles entitled; Gaga and Today Na Today while perfecting other 10 tracks to her credit.
Akhere, the acclaimed new Afro-pop queen of music in Naija, is a super model and creative person, who is ready to take the music industry by storm.

 “Music for me is life, love and joy. It represents who I really am. I see the stage as my world and in that world I RULE” says Akhere.
