Top Hip-hop artiste, Tuface Idibia's father has been diagnosed as having prostate cancer. The disclosure about the 67-year-old senior Idibia (pictured right) was made known by his artiste son, Tuface at the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy, (CECP), Cancer Charity Event held on Sunday, June 8, in Lagos.
Prostate Cancer is a form of cancer that develops in the prostrate, a gland in the male reproductive system. Age is considered as the primary risk factor. The older a man is, the higher is his risk of having it. It is rare among men under the age of 45, but much more common after the age of 50.
Medical experts also say genetics is definitely a factor in prostate cancer risk.
While urging Nigerians to pray for his ailing father, Tuface said that arrangements were in top gear to make him commence chemotherapy.
