Student Left Blind In One Eye After Principal's Secretary Slapper Her

A female student of a government secondary school has been blinded in one eye in Oyo State after the school principal’s secretary allegedly gave her a slap across her cheek.
14-year-old Iyanuoluwa Dahunsi(pictured), a Senior Secondary School 2 student of Bishop Philips Academy, Ibadan, had on January 29, 2015 in the school premises accused of wrongdoing by the principal’s secretary, Mrs. Funke Fashina.
It happened that Iyanu( her past picture right) and two other female students were seen exiting a derelict building by Fashina and were asked, what they were there for. Their responses were said not to convince Fashina who hit them across their cheeks one after the other.

It was said that Iyanu was the worst hit by the furious secretary. Her right eye received the knock and got swollen with pain in the socket to the point that University College Hospital, Ibadan (UCH), said she would require a surgery
Fashina who has been suspended by Oyo State Ministry of Education, is currently facing assault charges. She was arraigned last Monday.
