The Executive
Director, El-Amin International School Minna, Dr. Mohammed Babangida, has
compensated five pioneer staff of the school with three-bedroom flat each.
The donation was made
during the school's 20th anniversary celebration recently in Minna.
He stated that a
three-bedroom flat each was given to five pioneer female staff for their
"enduring commitment and contributions to the growth of the school right
from inception. "
The beneficiaries
include Victoria Maigemu, Maryam Asoju, Juliet Mathew, Rumi Yosase and Zainab
Aguye.
Dr. Babangida said
that the celebration tagged 'Education: a lasting legacy' was to mark the
school's 20 years of existence as well as commemorate its two decades of
uninterrupted excellence in the delivery of quality education.
The founder of the
school and former First Lady Mrs. Maryam Babangida was honored during the
event.
The programmes
included debates, speech presentations, dance, drama, choreography, miming,
play let and solos.
Those in attendance
included the School's Grand Patron and former President, General Ibrahim
Badamasi Babangida; Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello; Air Vice Marshal
Hamza Abdullahi and Senator Zainab Kure.
