Migration: Finland Ready to Cooperate with Germany Bilaterally

    Finland President, Sauli Niinisto
Finland is ready to cooperate with Germany bilaterally on the issue of migration, the country’s Prime Minister Juha Sipila, said on Thursday.

“There is something we can do also bilaterally with Germany.
“We have practical problems on that secondary migration and Finland is ready to cooperate with Germany,’’ Sipila told newsmen.
Sipila, along with other European leaders, is attending the EU summit in Brussels.

The meeting is expected to focus on the issues of migration, security and defence.
European countries have been experiencing a severe migration crisis since 2015, due to the influx of thousands of migrants and refugees fleeing crises and poverty in the Middle East and North Africa.
