    PR Practitioner, Bidemi Zakariyau Gets Forbes’ Recognition

    The Founder, LSF|PR, a public relations firm, Bidemi Zakariyau, has been listed on the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30, which  honours young entrepreneurs who have brought positive change to the industry.
    Zakariyau was also recently awarded a SABRE certificate of excellence for her company’s ‘Philips Through Your Life Campaign’ for Philips, which was used across Africa by Philips last year.

    The SABRE Awards – with 25-year heritage – recognises campaigns that demonstrate the highest levels of strategic planning, creativity and business results. The awards cover the entire global public relations business.
     A statement issued by Zakariyau on Tuesday read in part, “We are very pleased to be recognised for our work. This goes to show the quality of work we deliver is of global standards, considering the fact that I started this company with a legal background and no previous experience in PR.

    “In our five years of operation, we have achieved a lot in terms of diversifying our client portfolio to many sectors, which is very encouraging for my team and me. We will continue to work hard to ensure that we serve our clients by delivering results that move their businesses forward.”
    Her agency boasts of local and international brands in different sectors including corporate, consumer, oil and gas services, financial services and technology.

    She was listed on the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list in the business category on June 1, which was the most definitive list of Africa’s most promising young change-makers.
    This year, Forbes Magazine’s fourth edition of the list was inspired by the growing number of young men and women entrepreneurs, who are game changers in their industry.

    LSF|PR, a full-service public relations agency with core competencies in corporate communications, consumer and lifestyle brands. Zakariyau handles the day-to-day management of LSF|PR and currently leads her team in creating communications strategy for the consultancy’s clients. She is actively involved in advising clients on critical communications strategies and issues.

    Her work reflects the international scope and breadth of the agency’s offering and has included advising clients on entry strategies into the Nigerian Market and ongoing corporate reputation building efforts. She recently founded and is the head of business development of The Luxe Digest, a pan-African luxury content platform. In 2015, she was recognised as one of the leading female entrepreneurs under 25 in Nigeria by SME100 and in 2016 she was awarded The Future Awards Africa Prize for media enterprise.

    Last year, she was recognised as one of the 100 most influential women in Nigeria by Leading Ladies Africa. A member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, she also sits on the board of Réle Art Gallery.
