Peak Bids Eagles Farewell with Super Breakfast

Peak, the official milk sponsor of the Super Eagles served the team a sumptuous farewell breakfast in Asaba over the weekend as they departed for Egypt to partake in the 32nd African Cup of Nations tournament which is set to begin on 21st June.
Present at the breakfast session were all 25 players of the squad as well as officials of the nation’s football team.

Captain John Mikel Obi and his teammates could not hide their excitement at the gesture by the brand, which has stood behind the squad over the years.
Coach Gernot Rohr said that with the support from Peak, the team would be inspired to conquer in Egypt as the Super Eagles chase a fourth African title after the successes of 1980, 1994 and 2013.

Goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa expressed his delight at the special bonding session and said that Peak had been his No 1 milk.
“I am happy with Peak. I love Peak milk. And I am thrilled that the brand is supporting the Super Eagles,” the goalkeeper enthused.
Peak Milk has been a sponsor of the national football team since 1998 when it backed the Super Eagles to the FIFA World Cup in France.

Nigeria won its last continental trophy in 2013 in South Africa, but since then, this is the country’s first outing in the competition. The Eagles failed to qualify for the 2015 and 2017 editions.
Peak is set to see the Super Eagles triumph again in Egypt 2019.
