One Hundred and Seventeen new cases of coronavirus as been recorded in Eight states across the country by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), taking the total of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 782.
The agency gave the update on Twitter, Tuesday night.
Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases. NCDC gave the breakdown as: 59 cases in Lagos, 29 cases in FCT, 14 cases in Kano, 6 cases in Borno, 4 cases in Katsina, 3 cases in Ogun, 1 case in Rivers and 1 case in Bauchi.
Nigeria has now recorded a total of 782 coronavirus cases in 24 states and the FCT. 179 people have been discharged, while 25 people have died.
