Data released by the centre shows that 345 new patient have been successfully treated and discharged on Tuesday.
According to NCDC, Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 51 cases.
While 15 new cases were found in FTC, 11 cases in Plateau, 8 cases each in Kaduna, Oyo and Rivers and 4 cases in Ogun.
Also Edo, Imo and Kwara reported 2 cases each, Delta and Kano also confirmed 1 case each.
Nigeria has tested 614,480 persons since the first confirmed case relating to the COVID-19 pandemic was announced on 27 February 2020.
According to the NCDC, on the 27th of October 2020, 113 new confirmed cases and 3 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
Till date, 62,224 cases have been confirmed, 57,916 cases have been discharged and 1,135 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Our discharges today include 165 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with new case management guidelines.
