    COVID-19: 44 New Cases Reported as Lagos Leads with 32

    Nigeria is reporting no new COVID-19 related death and 44 new cases Wednesday in 3 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

    According to the nation’s online dashboard, there are currently 167,375 confirmed cases of COVID-19 infections and 2,118 COVID-19 related deaths in the nation since the pandemic began.

    Active cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria has increased from 1,300 to 1,340.

    A detailed breakdown of the newly recorded infections by state as follows: Lagos-32, Rivers-8, FCT-2 and Plateau-2.

    While Imo, Kano, and Sokoto reported zero cases of the virus.

    With 4 people having fought off the highly contagious disease, the total number of recoveries in the country rose to 163,917

    Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC disclosed late Wednesday.
