    Nigeria Reports 33 New COVID-19 Infections

    Another 33 Nigeria residents tested positive for COVID-19  in 4 states and the Federal Capital Territory on Tuesday.

    There was a drop in the number of infections [33] reported on Tuesday compared to the number [75] reported Monday.

    With the new addition, the nation’s COVID-19 infections climbed up to 254,124, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC disclosed this via its official Facebook page.

    NCDC added that 15 people were discharged after testing negative to the disease, which includes 3 dischaged cases reported in FCT on 14th February 2022 including 2 community discharges. 

    Data released by the centre showed that no patients died of coronavirus-related complications in the past 24 hours.

    The nationwide death toll from the virus remained 3,141  NCDC stated that, in total, 230,472 people have been discharged from hospitals after their symptoms improved.

    Today’s report includes, 8 states with zero cases reported: Abia, Bauchi, Imo, Kano, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau and Sokoto, NCDC said.
