The former Real Madrid midfielder will undergo a medical on
Monday before finalising his move to Julen Lopetegui’s side.
Isco, 30, will become Sevilla’s third signing of the summer
after the arrivals of centre-back Marcao from Galatasaray and Manchester United
left-back Alex Telles on a season-long loan deal.
The former Valencia and Malaga midfielder won three La Liga
titles, the Copa del Rey and five Champions Leagues during his nine-year spell
at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Isco announced his Real Madrid departure on his Instagram
account at the end of May.
Writing on Instagram, Isco said: “Real Madrid knocked on my
door and Real Madrid cannot and should not be told no, although there are
always exceptions.
“I remember telling my people Madrid hasn’t won the
Champions League for many years, and I have a feeling that it’s about to change
and (then) La Decima arrived, everything that comes after is already history.
Sevilla have reached an agreement to sign Isco on free transfer! Medical on Monday in order to complete the deal as contract has been agreed until June 2024. 🚨⚪️🔴 #Sevilla

“Nine years later my time at the club that has made it
possible for me to fulfil all the dreams I had when I was little comes to an
end.
“I want to thank my teammates, coaches, coaching staff,
physios, kit men, workers at Valdebebas and Santiago Bernabeu for all the work,
love and support that everyone needs and that I have never lacked.
“I also want to thank the fans who welcomed me in an
incredible way from the first day and who accompany this team in every corner
of the world!
