Truecaller Launches 10x Improved iOS App to Help Users Identify Spam Calls and Texts

Live caller ID can now identify spammers, businesses, Truecaller users, and searched numbers.

Phone and text message scams are on the rise, with more than 68 million Americans having lost money in a scam since mid-2021. With election season on the horizon, unwanted calls and text messages will only increase in the coming months.

Truecaller, the world’s leading global communications platform, has released the latest version of its iOS app, so users can separate important communications from fraud and unwelcome annoyances. The new app offers 10 times improved spam and business detection compared to the previous version.

Apple users have been looking for a solution that empowers them to make more accurate decisions, so the important calls get picked up. This iOS version has been completely re-written from the ground up to be lighter (smaller app size), more efficient (works faster, even on the older iPhone 6S), and more helpful in identifying relevant callers and text senders.

Truecaller uses community-based spam reporting for accurate and quick protection from scams, telemarketers, fraud, and more.

Users can install and configure the new app quickly, ready to use in two minutes. This latest version includes an enhanced detail view when you search numbers, a redesigned search extension, and a new premium purchase flow with easier feature comparisons for paid subscribers.
