Xiaomi Unveils Redmi Note 13 Series With 6.7-Inch AMOLED Displays

The Redmi Note 13 series smartphones have been launched in China today. The newly launched Redmi Note 13 series consists of three devices namely the Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. All three smartphones in this series feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. 

The trio boasts a 16MP front-facing camera. The Redmi Note 13 5G and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery, whereas the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is equipped with a 5,100mAh battery. All these devices run Android 13 out of the box with MIUI 14 skin on top.

Redmi Note 13 Series Specifications, Features

As mentioned above, the Redmi Note 13 series smartphone boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate. The Redmi Note 13 5G has a Full HD+ resolution and a 1,000 nits brightness, while the other two smartphones have a 1.5K resolution. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G has a curved display, a leather back panel and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The Redmi Note 13 5G is powered by Dimensity 6080 SoC, whereas the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G packs Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC respectively.

When it comes to imaging, the Redmi Note 13 5G boasts a dual-camera setup which consists of a 100MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G features a triple-camera setup. The camera module on these devices includes a 200MP primary camera (Samsung HP3 sensor), an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. These devices flaunt a 16MP camera on the front side.

The Redmi Note 13 5G and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery. The prior offers 33W fast charging support, whereas the latter offers 120W fast charging support. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G which supports 67W fast charging packs a 5,000mAh battery. Last but not least, all three devices have a 5G support, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.

Redmi Note 13 Series Pricing, Availability

The Redmi Note 13 5G comes in Time Blue, Midnight Dark, and Star Sand White colour options. The price of the device in China starts at CNY 1,099 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. The other two variants with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB storage retail for CNY 1,199 and CNY 1,399 respectively. The top-end Redmi Note 13 5G model which packs 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 1,599 in China.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G comes in the same colour options as that of the Redmi Note 13 5G, except that it gets one additional colour option: Light Dream Space. The base model of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs CNY 1,399. The 8GB RAM model with 256GB of internal storage retails for CNY 1,499. The 12GB RAM model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB storage costs CNY 1,699 and CNY 1,899 respectively. The top-end model which ships with 16GB of RAM and 512GB storage retails for CNY 1,999.

As for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, it comes in Midnight Dark, Mirror White, and Light Dream Space colours. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G 12GB RAM variant with 256GB/512GB storage costs CNY 1,899 and CNY 2,099 respectively. The top-end model is priced at CNY 2,199. It packs up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone will go on sale in China from September 26.
