Roma manager, Jose Mourinho has again claimed they don’t have enough finances to get the players he wants in the transfer market.
Mourinho cited the €80million transfer of Kalvin Phillips
from Leeds to Manchester City and how Pep Guardiola wants to replace him after
only one season.
“Not that I’m jealous, but Man City paid €80 million for
Kalvin Phillips and now Pep has said it would be better for him to leave.
“So he’ll leave and they’ll get someone else. Our reality is
very different. It’s not easy for us to sign one player,” Mourinho said.
Guardiola recently apologized for not giving Phillips enough
minutes, with the England midfielder expected to leave the Etihad in the
January window.
