    Oluwaseyi Layade to Head Leo Burnett Lagos as COO, Ushering in a New Era of Excellence in Advertising

    Leo Burnett Lagos, member of West-Africa’s largest integrated marketing group, Insight Redefini, and grand-prix winner at last year’s LAIF Awards announces the appointment of Oluwaseyi Layade to the esteemed position of Chief Operating Officer, effective January, 2024.

    With an illustrious career spanning over 16 years in marketing communications, Layade has consistently showcased exceptional leadership, strategic prowess, and an unwavering commitment to innovation.

    Having commenced her advertising journey at 141 Worldwide, now Nitro 121, Layade quickly established herself as a pivotal force in shaping the success stories of renowned brands in Nigeria. Her strategic insights and innovative approaches during her tenure significantly impacted British American Tobacco's Brand & Trade Marketing initiatives, solidifying her reputation as a dynamic and results-driven professional.

    Transitioning to SPV Communications Ltd in 2017, Layade's operational acumen and leadership skills were instrumental in steering the consortium to new heights, delivering substantial value to MTN Brand.

    Joining Ogilvy Nigeria in 2020 as Head of Client Service, Layade orchestrated geometric growth, expanding business operations into experiential and public relations. Her instrumental role in managing influential brands like Coca-Cola, Airtel, Friesland Campina, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Sterling Bank, European Union, and NBC Universal underscored her versatile expertise and strategic acumen.

    In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Oluwaseyi serves as the present Chairman of Women in Advertising, exemplifying her dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion within the industry.

    In January 2023, Layade assumed the role of Account Management Director at Insight Publicis, showcasing her exceptional capabilities in overseeing diverse business portfolios.
