Mountain Top University, Ogun State has emerged first in Sustainable Development Goal four, quality education in Nigeria according to the 2024 World University ranking by Times Higher Education.
Times Higher Education, the topmost global university
ranking body, assesses institutions by identifying and celebrating universities
that excel across multiple United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
A statement by MTU said that the institution also took
second place in SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), fifth place in SDG 17
(Partnerships for the Goals), and fourth place overall in the Impact Rankings.
It read, “It is an impressive performance in the 2024 THE
Impact Rankings is a testament to its dedication to creating a positive impact
on society. Here’s how its achievements make the university unique:
“Mountain Top University’s first place in SDG 4 (Quality
Education) in Nigeria demonstrates its commitment to providing exceptional

It added that these achievements made Mountain Top
