The " Giants In You" campaign was unveiled to brand journalists at Ebony Life Cinema, situated on Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Friday. This initiative is designed to inspire, empower, enable, and support visionaries, innovators, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders in transcending the ordinary and embracing ambitious concepts, think giant thoughts, take giant steps, accomplishments, and live the giant lifestyle.

During his presentation, Olayinka Ijabiyi, Head of Brand and Stakeholder Management, Marketing, and Corporate Communications stated that “First Bank brand campaign is designed to demonstrate to our customers, over the course of our 130-year history, that we have consistently supported and nurtured the growth of industry leaders, and we remain committed to this mission.”

“Our extensive history of operations and unwavering commitment to supporting businesses, individuals, and government entities over the years have consistently demonstrated our value to all stakeholders.

He added “In the spirit of fostering mutually beneficial partnerships, we are proud to announce the launch of our groundbreaking initiative. Through our unwavering commitment to excellence, we have successfully transformed our clients into industry giants, revolutionizing their business operations and unlocking unprecedented growth opportunities. This is not merely a claim, but a testament to the tangible benefits experienced by our esteemed clientele. As we unveil this transformative campaign, we reaffirm our unwavering dedication to empowering our customers and propelling them to even greater heights of success.”

The bank stated that, it is committed to empowering, motivating, and assisting its customers in achieving their aspirations and living their best lives through its comprehensive suite of financial services. Additionally, it emphasized its dedication to providing businesses and entrepreneurs with the appropriate platforms and solutions to facilitate their growth, innovation, and execution of audacious concepts.

The bank will also develop additional product campaigns designed to assist individuals in achieving significant success in their business endeavors. “We are presenting these product campaigns as opportunities for customers to leverage and become leaders in their respective industries,” Ijabiyi concluded.

In her remarks, the Head of Brand Strategy and Financial Planning at First Bank, Mrs. Abimbola Meshinoye, emphasized the bank’s commitment to stakeholders, customers, and staff through its recent campaign. The campaign aims to convey the bank’s dedication to enabling the success of its stakeholders and highlights the significance of their achievements.

Mrs. Meshinoye underscored the crucial role of the media in societal development, particularly in disseminating information, fostering education, and providing entertainment that shapes societal trends. She acknowledged the media’s instrumental role in the success of First Bank’s narrative.

During the Q&A session, the Head of Corporate Communications at FirstBank, Ismail Omamegbe, underscored the bank’s unwavering commitment to fulfilling its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) obligations. He reiterated the bank's aspiration to maintain its leadership position in the sports sector and assured stakeholders that FirstBank would continue to support and promote sports at all levels.

The initial phase of the corporate campaign will be broadcast on CNN and subsequently disseminated nationwide across various media platforms and advertising channels, as confirmed by Omamegbe.
