Canon Academy presents a comprehensive educational program featuring practical workshops covering a wide range of photography subjects. To date, we have successfully trained 85 students through this initiative. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum combining theory and practice, where experienced trainers instill confidence and passion while covering essential topics such as exposure triangle, composition, lighting, focus, and more.

In collaboration with esteemed institutions, Kourtrajmé Dakar Film School and Sup'IMax School, Canon is dedicated to empowering aspiring photographers and enthusiasts with world-class education and resources.
This significant launch was marked by a networking event on August 13th at the Kourtrajmé Dakar Film School, introducing the local photography community to Canon's comprehensive educational offerings, cutting-edge product lineup, authorized dealers, and the immersive Canon Academy workshop experience.
At the core of the Canon Academy experience were the practical workshops held at Sup'IMax School on August 14th. Under the guidance of Canon Ambassador Seibou Traore, these sessions provided comprehensive insights into the foundational principles of photography. Key topics such as the exposure triangle, lighting, focus, composition, aperture, ISO, and proficiency in manual mode were thoroughly covered. By imparting practical skills, Canon Academy endeavors to unleash the creative potential of participants and propel their photography to greater heights.
