Fincra, a payment infrastructure provider based in Nigeria, has repurposed the former residence of Lord Lugard, a colonial administrator, into its new headquarters in Ikoyi, Lagos. This strategic location aims to enhance accessibility for the company’s clients.

“Our new office is centrally located, making it easier for clients and partners to reach us. This will allow us to serve our customers more effectively through improved operations, quicker response times, and tailored support,” stated Wole Ayodele, CEO of Fincra, during the launch event on July 31.

Established in 2021, Fincra specializes in both online and offline payment solutions, facilitating local and international transactions for businesses. The company’s APIs empower fintech firms to develop and expand cross-border payment solutions. Its diverse clientele spans various sectors, including financial services, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs), e-commerce, logistics, manufacturing, and large enterprises, with notable clients such as Lemfi, Raenest, Verto, and 1XBet.

In 2023, Fincra obtained a payment service solution provider (PSSP) license from the Central Bank of Nigeria. The company operates across several countries, including Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America, supporting transactions in over 30 currencies across 150 nations.

With the establishment of its new headquarters, Fincra aims to realize its vision of creating an API infrastructure that digitally connects Nigeria and Africa to the global market. The company plans to explore new market opportunities and introduce innovative products.

“Our commitment to customer satisfaction remains paramount. Our clients should stay tuned for what Fincra has in store,” Ayodele remarked.
