Victor Osimhen has reportedly reached an agreement to join Chelsea, with a weekly salary of €350,000, bringing him closer to his aspiration of playing in the Premier League.
This amount falls €150,000 short of the €500,000 per week
that the Napoli striker initially sought, but he has opted for this figure as
the summer transfer window is set to close in the next 48 hours.
This development aligns with previous reports from Italy
indicating that the lengthy negotiations between Chelsea and Napoli were
approaching a resolution, with Napoli seemingly accepting Chelsea's offer for
the Nigerian forward.
In a related note, Al Ahli has intensified their efforts to
acquire Osimhen, with Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stating that the
Saudi Pro League club's management plans to travel to Italy to expedite the
transfer process.
Chelsea is expected to secure a new striker soon, with
Osimhen, Jhon Duran, and Ivan Toney—who is also being monitored by Manchester
United—being potential candidates.
Napoli is eager to offload the former Lille player and is
