Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the upcoming 2023 election, recently paid a courtesy visit to renowned Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, and his elder brother, Jude Okoye, who is also a prominent music executive.

It is pertinent to note that this visit occurred amidst the recent discord between Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, his twin brother, Mr. Peter Okoye, and  Jude Okoye.

In a recent interview, Rudeboy made allegations that his twin brother had filed a petition with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), resulting in his arrest.

However, in an open letter released on Monday, Peter Okoye vehemently denied these accusations, emphasizing that his primary focus was to uncover the truth behind a clandestine company called Northside Music, allegedly owned by their brother, Jude Okoye, and his wife,  Ifeoma Okoye.

In what appeared to be an attempt at reconciliation, Rudeboy took to his official Instagram page on Tuesday to express his gratitude to Peter Obi for undertaking this conciliatory gesture.

He captioned the photos, “Thank you very much and God bless you sir P.O @peterobigregory #yourexcelency”

Paul and Peter Okoye were strong advocates for Peter Obi, who was the presidential candidate for the Labour Party in the 2023 election.
