Actress and media figure Nancy Isime recently discussed her aspirations for early retirement and the dedication that has fueled her journey on an episode of the CreativiTEA podcast.

Isime revealed that she began her career at the age of 17, driven by a focused objective of attaining financial stability prior to retiring early.

“I have been working since I was 17, early retirement is the plan. So I’m doing all my work now so by the time I am retiring at an age people feel is too early, my portfolio and achievements will speak for themselves.”

The role Interpreter also underscored the significance of deriving pleasure from the process rather than solely concentrating on the final outcome, “We tend to want to see the end results before we do anything. We don’t enjoy the process. I’m very intentional about enjoying the process and the journey, understanding that you can never truly arrive.”

She is a firm advocate for the significance of incremental progress and the value of facing difficulties, stating that navigating obstacles is an essential element of her journey to success.

“People feel like struggles are something to be ashamed of; for me, it’s not. If you go through my Instagram page, you can scroll all the way down. I don’t delete anything because it’s like a memory book for me,” she explained.

In the context of establishing a solid foundation, Nancy drew a parallel between her personal journey and a fundamental principle rooted in biblical teachings.

“There’s a part of the Bible that says when your foundation is built on Christ, it’s like building on solid rock, and when the rain comes, it stands solid. That’s what I’ve done, building my way through life.”
