Nigerian street artist Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, widely recognized as Seyi Vibez, has officially ended his association with Dapper Music & Entertainment.

Following this decision, he unfollowed the label's head, Damilola Akinwunmi, known as dapperdamm.

This development comes shortly after Seyi Vibez faced backlash on social media from Nigerians in Toronto, Canada, for abruptly canceling a scheduled performance.

In response, he updated his social media biography to reflect his new status as "Independent" and removed all previous posts, marking the beginning of his solo music career.

Meanwhile, Dapper Music continues to feature Vibez’s profile on its website, suggesting an unbalanced separation.

A representative from Dapper indicated that they are awaiting Seyi Vibez's return to Nigeria to discuss the situation.

"We are hoping he will come back soon, and perhaps his family or close friends can help persuade him.

However, his cancellation of shows in Canada has significantly impacted Dapper's management," the source stated.

Since their collaboration began in 2022, Seyi Vibez and Dapper Music have achieved considerable success.

The artist gained prominence with his hit single ‘Chance (Na Ham)’ from his second studio album ‘Billion Dollar Baby’ and announced the launch of his own label, Vibez Inc., in 2023.

That same year, he also introduced a new artist, TML Vibez, to his label.

Seyi Vibez has maintained his popularity since rising to fame, collaborating with prominent figures in the music industry and connecting with audiences through his unique musical style.
