The Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), a Shariah-compliant multilateral insurer and part of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group,  announced that the Togolese Republic has officially become its 50th member state. This achievement not only signifies the increasing trust and cooperation within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) but also underscores ICIEC's dedication to delivering customized insurance solutions that promote sustainable economic development and investment prospects among its member nations.

With the addition of the Togolese Republic, ICIEC now includes 50 member states, representing a notable enhancement of its global presence and influence in facilitating trade and investment within OIC member countries.

On this significant occasion, Dr. Khalid Khalafalla, Officer-in-Charge of ICIEC, remarked: "We are thrilled to welcome the Togolese Republic as our 50th member state. This reflects the strong mutual trust between ICIEC and the Togolese Republic, and we are committed to aiding their economic goals through our comprehensive insurance and risk management solutions. Together, we aspire to promote sustainable development and economic resilience in the region."

As ICIEC continues to broaden its membership and services, the organization remains focused on strengthening economic resilience and assisting its member states in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and enhancing trade opportunities.
