Chinese heavyweight Zhilei Zhang has expressed his belief that Daniel Dubois will emerge victorious against Anthony Joshua in their IBF heavyweight title fight scheduled for September 21 at Wembley.

Zhang, who has enjoyed significant success after defeating Joe Joyce twice in 2022 and knocking out Deontay Wilder in March 2023, shared his insights following his recent win.

Despite experiencing a close points defeat to Joseph Parker, the 41-year-old known as “Big Bang” is confident that Dubois possesses the skills necessary to challenge the former champion.

In an interview with BoxNation, Zhang elaborated on his reasons for supporting the younger Dubois in this eagerly awaited matchup.

“I personally favour Daniel Dubois to pull this off because he’s on a surge. He’s young, he’s hungry, he has the fire in him,” Zhang said.

“He had a beautiful knockout victory over Filip Hrgovic last time, so I really have my faith in the underdog, and I believe he can win. I believe he will shock the world.”
