American celebrity couple, singer Halle Bailey and rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., known as DDG, have officially ended their relationship.

The rapper shared this news on his Instagram account on Thursday, October 3. DDG clarified that the decision to part ways was made mutually.

“Dear friends and supporters, after much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” he wrote on his Instagram stories.

DDG stated that while they are no longer in a romantic relationship, their connection remains robust. He highlighted that their main focus is on co-parenting and providing mutual support in their respective endeavors.

“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other,” he shared, adding that they will focus on their “individual journeys and roles as co-parents.”

The couple, who initiated their romantic relationship in January 2022, welcomed their child, Halo, into their family in late 2023.
