Nigerian gospel artist Somtochukwu Nsofor, widely recognized as Essemm, is embarking on a remarkable mission to break the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous singing performance.

During a press conference in Lagos on Sunday, Essemm announced his ambitious target of singing for an incredible 128 hours, aiming to surpass the existing record of 105 hours set by Indian singer Sunil Waghmare.

Essemm articulated that this endeavor is not merely a personal milestone but a means to disseminate the message of Jesus Christ worldwide.

“This is about the kingdom and its influence on global media for the gospel,” he remarked.

Harnessing the transformative power of music, Essemm aspires to uplift and inspire, sharing the love of Christ with audiences everywhere.

He envisions this effort as a demonstration of faith's strength, encouraging other gospel artists to chase their dreams.

His musical journey began in childhood, captivated by the beauty of melodies. He developed his skills by learning to play various instruments, including the guitar and piano.

As an innovative entrepreneur, Essemm established TWF Concept in 2014, a media and management platform dedicated to nurturing creative talent within Nigeria’s music scene.

His production studio has played a pivotal role in empowering local artists to reach wider audiences with their music.

Additionally, Essemm initiated the Chronicles Music Concert, an annual event that promotes the message of Jesus Christ through music and community.

This platform has become a vital opportunity for fellow gospel artists to showcase their work and inspire others.

Through this record-breaking endeavor, Essemm aims to make a lasting impact on the music industry, reinforcing his dedication to spreading the gospel and uplifting the next generation of gospel musicians.
