Among the collaborators is the incarcerated internet fraudster Hushpuppi, alongside British rappers Chip, Arrdee, and the UK group NSG.
The album also includes contributions from notable artists such as Burna Boy, Johnny Drille, Cheque, Fave, and Flavour.
The tracklist comprises titles like ‘It’s Nothing,’ ‘Back Outside,’ ‘Time Of My Life,’ ‘Eyes On Dem,’ ‘Do I,’ ‘Deep,’ ‘Nwayo Nwayo,’ and ‘Men Don Show Face,’ along with ‘Grateful,’ ‘Nwoke Esike,’ ‘Troublemaker,’ ‘Pinterest,’ ‘Sweet Karma,’ and ‘Anthem Ndi Nze.’
Hushpuppi was sentenced to 11 years and three months in a U.S. prison for money laundering on November 7, 2022.
Phyno hosted a listening party for the album at Landmark Towers in Lagos on Thursday night, attended by notable figures such as Jude Okoye, Cubana Chief Priest, OAP Dotun, and rapper Illbliss.
The rapper expressed, ““Full Time Job is basically for creatives, every talented person. The time you put in developing your skills show on the project, anything you put out and that’s where your greatness lies.”
“I’m trying to tell people greatness is a full-time job. So if you put in all your time, people will see your efforts.
“The artistes I featured are the ones I love to work with. They are artistes I listen to every time and I know they are good.”
Phyno's journey began as a producer in 2003, and he is celebrated for his unique style of rapping in the Igbo language. He started recording his debut studio album, No Guts No Glory, in 2014, the album includes collaborations with notable artists such as Stormrex, Omawumi, Olamide, Efa, P-Square, Timaya, Flavour N’abania, Mr Raw, M.I, Ice Prince, and Runtown.
The success continued with later releases, including 2016’s ‘The Playmaker’, 2019’s ‘Deal with It’ and ‘Something To Live For’ in 2021, marking his second, third, and fourth studio albums, respectively.
