Neymar has made his return to the field after being sidelined for over a year due to a torn ACL; however, he will not participate in Brazil's final two World Cup qualifiers this year.

On Friday, Brazil's coach Dorival Júnior announced that the renowned forward was not included in the squad for the upcoming matches against Venezuela on November 14 and Uruguay five days later.

Neymar made his comeback with Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal on October 21 during the AFC Champions League Elite.

Additionally, Júnior has opted to exclude young striker Endrick from the roster.

Currently, Brazil sits in fourth place in the South American qualifying standings, trailing leader Argentina by six points after ten matches. The top six teams will earn automatic spots in the 2026 World Cup
